Really without available drivers, the only thing I can suggest is to uninstall that device from inside Device Manager, then re-start your PC and then reconnect the smart card reader to get Windows to load the driver again. I ran the diagnostic tool (SmartDiagv2.3) tha comes with the CD, and it passes the test. Right click the device that shows up below Smart Card Readers and select uninstall. c. Once it is uninstalled, unplug the reader from your computer. d.
